Most of my professional life has been spent in science, where I’ve earned a Ph.D. in Genetics and an M.S. in Marine Sciences. Now it’s time to put that knowledge to work on creating stories that will inform people on critical issues in science and public health, empower women to take on challenges mostly reserved for men, and ultimately move audiences and readers to engage with the environmental and humanitarian crises facing us today, and empireling tomorrow.
